Three Thumbnail Stages

These were just the stages through my process of building up each stage of the design and have completed my process of my final design, which has allowed me to look back and see what a difference it shows to get feedback so I was very pleased with the final outcome.

This week I decided to do an illustration of the word duet my first thought was how every morning I wake up hearing birds singing that wakes me up feeling great and happy.

This week I decided to do an illustration of the word duet my first thought was how every morning I wake up hearing birds singing that wakes me up feeling great and happy.

Toy

This week's word was toy and the first thing I thought of was my pocahontas doll as a kid, because I grow up with all the disney toys but I always had my pocahontas with me and stuff like pyjamas, school bags and such.

These are just some logos I designed for the mohawk community builders, I wanted to use the colours and play with the different techniques symbolizing the name "mohawk community builders and so I used the hammer and roof to in top of the logos to show building that represent it.

Cereal Box Design

This was a Cereal box design I created , which I took a photograph of the cereal bowl, and imported it into my design, and designed the monkey character that was targeted at children between the ages 4-8, to incorporate a children's cereal box design.

Cultivate

This is an illustration of the word cultivate and I decided to draw a farm where I was reminded back of a apple farm I use to go and therefore drew a farmer racking the soil and corns which gave it that peaceful, friendly feel to it.

Swarm

This is an illustration of the word swarm which I thought it would be a good idea to show how Im doing so far in college and show that im stressed and swarm around with homework each and everyday but thats ok cause at the end it gets done.

Layers

this is an illustration of a muslim girl covered with clothing to the amount of layers is used to cover a women's body because to hide attraction from men and any distractions, And from this being compared to a regular girls everyday wear its to show respect,modesty and humility.

Stir

this is an illustration of a coffee in a tea cup being stired with the cinnamon stick beside it, ,along with that I added that frothy texture look on it to show its being served with the steam since I like drinking coffee I thought it would be a good concept.

this was an image I found and redrew it but will be changing it around to show a builder working with other builders to show teamwork along with other construction workers.

these were just some small thumbnails off the net for inspiration, I was thinking using the workers and the building to show teamwork by combining them with other related items.

Bansky Inspired

This was a project I did for the theme called bansky , Bansky is a British street artist with an international reputation shows and explains some of his best work.
Therefore I had to photograph and use it to create a message using the photo taken and therefore used the wall to create a graffiti look about bullying.

This was a project I did for a mcdonalds ad where I read a article and had to make a parody of it showing based on the article where the guy was very rude and stubborn where he would argue with the manager and had to show a illustration based on the people.

this was a poster I designed for International Women's Day and I had to choose a women who has been an inspiration to all women around the world, I used the background as laced to show that 1930's theme.and therefore I choose to do Audrey Hepburn because she is an inspiration to me and so many women because of her confidence and human rights which is why she is still known as the women she is today.

Teen Pregnancy Poster

this was a poster I designed for teen pregnancy. I was given a task to for the social change design challenge. I used mostly vector lines and shape to create focus and depth to make it stand out to teen and mothers to help indicate them to be more aware of teen pregnancy and helpful information.

Tiger Techniques

this was a project I did a while back and thought I would post this on my blog, I had to use different technique effects to show form by using ink to look like a tiger, i was very pleased with the result!

Rihanna Typographic Poster

This was an assignment I did last semester in my creative typography class where we had to create a celebrity typographic face using only letters to create the face, I must say I had a lot of fun with this assignment , and that I was very pleased with the end result!

Stippling Camera

this is a camera I drew and had to ink it with a black marker pen to show tonal values of gradations and add contrast to help define the camera

Promotional PostCard

this was a postcard i did for my portfolio which included taking a photograph of ourselves and transforming into a vector art, I traced it by using the pen tool in corel draw i was very pleased with how it came out.
